Storytelling

ancient stories with timeless questions

For over eight years, I had the privilege of receiving ancient stories from Hopi Elder Grandmother Medicine Song. Most of these stories are believed to be thousands of years old, passed down orally from generation to generation within Native American tribes.

Each story carries powerful life questions — questions that invite you to pause and reflect on the path you are walking. Sometimes you may think, “This story isn’t about me; it’s about an animal or another being.” And yet, as the story unfolds, you discover it mirrors an aspect of your own life. Every listener takes away something unique — something meant just for them.

These stories are alive. They are not read, but told, spoken into the moment. There are many stories, many themes, and I always find one that resonates with the occasion. Storytelling is one of my deepest passions.

Fun fact: before sharing these teachings, I spent 25 years writing and producing fairy tales for the Efteling theme park in the Netherlands. Today, I continue that journey — but with stories rooted in ancient wisdom, offering timeless guidance for modern life.
